April is Financial Literacy Month! At TP Event Rentals we want to show the importance of financial literacy and contribute to a strong future for our clients. We’d like to share some resources that are free and can help contribute to a strong financial future for you!

• Khan Academy Financial Literacy Online Course

  • Khan Academy offers and online course that takes you through 16 units that cover topics such as budgeting, insurance, car buying, loans and taxes.

• EveryDollar by Ramsey Solutions

  • This is an online budgeting tool. There is a free version that you can input your income for the month and plan out your expenses for the month. You can also create “funds” for things such as a car or vacation so you can keep track of your savings.

  • This site also provides an online budgeting tool where you can input your income and budget your spending for the month.

• EVERFI Tax Simulation

  • This is an online course for high school students to learn more about taxes and the process of filing them. They also offer courses surrounding investing or even careers in accounting.

• Practical Money Skills Guides

  • Guides ranging from debit cards, credit cards, budgeting and credit reports are available to download as a PDF. They also offer book based around superheroes that bring in financial literacy concepts for kids.
